Catching up

I realize that my posts have all been about travelling (well, about Seoul technically), so for today, I shall post about....
What I have been doing all these time HAHAHAIS. I am officially jobless now since I'm no longer working as a relief teacher and my weekend job as a coach is on hiatus because of my surgery >< I think I don't want to risk my leg until it is fully healed but I can't help but to miss the kids there, both childcare and SHAWS :( See, I get too attached easily :( Since then, I've been a couch potato and broke especially after I came back from Bangkok (yes, I went to Bangkok for my weekend gate away and I have yet to blog about it). Anyway, I became a babysitter for the day on Thur cause my mum went to work which means I have to take care of Irfan. Kids these days are super active or is it just him? He literally climbs everywhere, on the table, the baby court(?), on my body, everywhere! I'm always out of breathe whenever I have to take care of him or maybe I'm getting old uh T_T But still, can't deny that he is a pocketful of sunshine cause he never fails to make me smile :')
Oh and have I told you about the newly opened Korean cafe at Serangoon run by my friend's brother and her sis-in-law?
Nunsongyee (Snow Flakes)
45 Burghley Drive #01-04
instag: @nunsongyee
How to get there:
From Serangoon bus inter, board 317 and alight after 12 stops.
The cafe is located at a school named Serangoon Garden Technical School .
Well, Candy, Priya and I went all the way there to meet her (Kendra) and to do some catching up since it's been so long we see each other, plus, Priya is flying off to New Zealand for her studies :( I was actually so excited when I heard we are meeting at the cafe because I've been craving for patbingsu the past few days! (and also to see them heh)
Kendra recommended us Cheesecake Bingsu and so we ordered that as well as Black Sesame Bingsu because Candy wanted that (I'm not a big fan of black sesame :P) And tadah!
Is this the taste of paradise?!
Because really, I'm in LOVE with the cheesecake patbingsu. The breadcrumbs, the cheesecake, the ice cream, everything, tasted so good! And it's not so sweet either so all is well, in fact, daebakkkk!
You might be thinking that since it's my friend's bro's cafe, I'm being biased but I'm really not! If you don't believe me, you should give it a try okay!! No, you MUST try! But...do bring some extra cash because don't say I didn't warn you - the patbingsu is sure pricey, around $15 and it's mostly because their ingredients are directly imported from Korea. Also, they are located at areas where people are well off too so, the price is reasonable I guess?
Food rating: 9/10 (if you eat it too much, you tend to get sick of it though so do share among your friends!)
After a good dessert and catching up, we made our way home since it was already going 9.30pm and Kendra has to go back to work. The three of us in the end got lost as we wandered around Serangoon but thanks to meh (hehe) we found our way to the bus stop!
Thanks for the meetup and hope we get to meet soon before Priya flies off!
xoxo
