Day 7 // Rainbow, maple leaves, street food

30th November 2014
Woke
up at 10am to pack before checking out at 11pm, until Jay informed us that we
could check out at 2pm instead. Left Jay’s apartment (and some tea bags with a note for Jay to show our gratitude because she's been a great host during our stay here ^^) and Hongdae in the
afternoon with a heavy heart and we’re off to Myeongdong!
   
Have
always dreaded to carry our luggage up and down the stairs in Myeongdong
>< But anw, reached Kyu’s MOM guesthouse (!!) and since we could not
check in yet, we left our luggage to go to
HELLO MOM GUESTHOUSE, WE FINALLY MET!

After
asking the staff on how to get to the

for our tickets before riding the cable car which gives me goosebumps cause I
simply hate heights T^T
    
The
view is simply breathtaking. When I came here last time, it was already at
night so I didn’t get to see it’s view during the day but...

We
were hungry since we have yet to eat our brunch so we bought churros!
 
The next time I come here, I shall give this a try! ;)
    
As
Asy was busy taking pictures of the place, people were all rushing outside so
being curious, I went out too and guess what I saw….
 
It
rained earlier that day which explains the rainbow all across
    
We
were so excited when we saw the rainbow that we forgot we still need to lock our locks so we went to buy the locks which costs us 8,000
won and some souvenirs for our family.

It's supposed to be a couple bench but our boyfS not here (and well one bench is def not enough HAHAHA)
 
Time to throw our keys in the bin!
We didn’t want to leave Namsan that soon but since
we have other plans, we had to leave :( Sigh, so we left Namsan
with a really heavy heart :(

On
the way back, we spotted MANY wet maple leaves on the ground, the place where we sorta judged the girls who squatted down and took pictures with the maple leaves xD However, we could not resist the temptations of not taking a picture with them (now we know how the girls felt HAHAHA) so....
   
There was this ahjumma who saw us playing with the leaves and she laughed while saying cute HAHAHAHA thanks ahjumma!
 
I
mean come on, where else do you get to play with wet maple leaves right? Not in
The leaves didn't want Asy to leave xD

After embarrassing ourselves, we went back to MOM to check-in!!! (and brought a few maple leaves back hehe)
 
I
guess I was too excited that I forgot to take pictures of the room -_- The room was alright, a bit cramp for us especially with our luggage but
besides that, the bed was comfortable and the toilet is hugeeeee (and clean) so
all is well!
Once
we're done resting because we were shagged after all the climbing, we headed
to Itaewon for dinner at Mr Kebab!! FINALLY MEATTTTTT. I’ve been craving for
chicken ever since we reached
Went
to visit the Seoul Mosque and unfortunately, both Asy and I missed the chance
of praying at the mosque because red friend :(
 
Walked
around Itaewon for a while before we go crazy shopping at Myeongdong, mainly at Nature Republic and SM Pop Up Store >< I always tend to overspend
whenever I’m in Nature Republic /facepalms/ At first, I told myself that I’m
only going to buy what I REALLY NEED but in the end, I spend about 30,000 won
BECAUSE I wanted to get that Luhan and Baekhyun fan T^T Well, at least I didn’t
spend 50,000 won like last time ><
There
was this NR promoter who never fails to make us smile whenever we passed by
because of her cute voice and how squishy she looked thanks to her thick jacket
xD so we planned the next time we passed by her again, we must take a picture with her!!
  Besides NR, we also went to SM POP UP Store and I had to control myself not to buy unnecessary (urgh well all stuffs at SM POP UP Store are necessary what am I talking about -_-) stuffs like notebooks, stickers, wtv despite already having a things-to-buy lists. URGH IT WAS SO DIFFICULT TT The only thing that kept me from buying is the price.....really xD Well, I think Asy got it worse because she was contemplating if she should buy all of EXO's album here at the pop up store or just buy one. She chose the latter in the end (and kindda regretted I think hahaha just like how she regretted not buying Yeol's official Overdose photo because it's sold out rn xD) After a very difficult shopping, we went back to the streets and this time, look around to find some foods because we were famished!

The street foods are
all delicious but sadly, we could just smell and look at it from far hahahaha
 
Bought 2 boxes of traditional Korean sweet and my mum told me I should have bought more -.-
Passed by Infinite's Grow poster while we walked home..
The amount of loots I spend at Myeondong that day.......
