Recent Update :
Day 0 - 1 // Seoul, I'm back!
written on Friday, December 26, 2014 @ 7:25 AM ✈

Sorry it took me more than 1 month to post because no wifi T^T But anw, here’s to another post on my recent no longer recent Korea trip! I know I hadn’t been updating my previous trip but I promise that this time, I will update frequently okay hehe.

Ya’ll ready? xD

23-24 November 2014
Was rushing to the airport cause of the traffic jam and I can’t believe that when I told Asy that we were to meet at 6.30pm, she would be there on the spot cause, hey, we’re known for always being late and never on time haha. There she was, waiting for me impatiently and telling me to hurry my ass up lmao.

Bid farewell to our family and we’re off to board the plane (through endless immigration check points). Asy was REALLY excited she can’t stop smiling and so was I cause it’s been 6 months since I last set foot on my 2nd home T^T My friends told me I was crazy cause I just went to Korea but how can I say no to Korea when it's calling me back xP
It was a long ride to Seoul and thank goodness the ride wasn’t as stuffy as my previous ones hence I got to enjoy the 6 hours ride. Plus, there was a handsome Korean guy who looked like Bobby (!!) in front of us so we got to wash our eyes as well hahahaha. I didn’t notice him at first until he kept on looking back, waiting for me to finish writing the immigration form cause he wanted to borrow my pen and I was like, Holy, he look like Bobby. He spoke in his cute Konglish and I found myself melting inside HAHAHAHAH (gosh thinking about his cute accent and face still makes me melt inside hahah)

Had our lunner in the plane before we sleep (pbg habis)

Asy was sleeping throughout the journey (she really sleeps A LOT lol) even when we landed and she was like, WHY WAS I ASLEEP WHEN WE TOUCHED DOWN SEOUL T^T Breathe in them Korean air and the first thing we went to was their convenience store and bought Kimbab and T-card cause we were famished. Initially, we wanted to rent a wifi egg but in order to rent one, we need to have a credit card or else, had to pay $200 by cash. Since we were on a budget, we didn’t rent one even if cause you’ll only get your money back when you return the egg and we intended to rent it till our last day in Seoul so yeah L We still had a lot of time before checking in to Jay’s guesthouse so we decided to explore the airport! Was greeted by the freezing cold wind outside (it was 7 deg) and the beautiful maple trees J Such a beautiful sight we fall in love with it despite the cold weather.

It was already 12pm by then so we board AREX to our apartment at Hongdae, which took about 45 mins. Really brings back the memories of the last time I board AREX and knowing that I’m here again…words are not enough to describe how happy I felt.

Finding our way to Jay’s apartment was very easy cause it is within 5 min walk from Exit 5 or 7. Placed our luggage at Jay’s apartment before our short grocery shopping at Lotte Mart and then we head back to Hongdae to check-in. I was very impressed with how the apartment is cause it is very cosy and just nice for the two of us.

Kyu's first win hehe

So if any of you are wants to find an apartment around Hongdae, I really recommends this Jay's apartment :) Anw, we were hungry by then so we had dinner at the famous Yoogane in Hongdae.

After a good filing meal and exploring Hongdae, it’s time for window-shopping at Edae!

Chance upon a Ren's birthday ad in the subway :P

Since it was a long day, we head back to our apartment a bit earlier to rest and get ready for tomorrow!

Short post for Day 0 - 1 but I promise you that the posts for the rest of the days in Korea will be longggg so be prepared for them! ;)
