Day 3 itinerary

Such a bummer we keep on waking up late the next few days :/ So we straightaway head for our lunch at.....

Namdaemun!

I still remember how chaotic it was as soon as we stepped in the alley cause all the Ahjummas were like "Come here!!" "Where are you from? China" and speaks all sort of languages to us but mostly Chinese. Err like hello....do we look like we're from China? -.- I gave them that O.o look and we walked all the way to the exit cause it's too chaotic we can't handle it xD So a few minutes later, we went back in and decide on the first stall cause we don't want to hear any more shouting xD

Kalgaksu aka knife sliced noodle with anchovy broth, sticky rice with peas and seaweed. One word to describe it: DAEBAK. I've never tasted soft and chewy homemade noodles before and this is by far the best one I've ever tried!! The warm soup goes well with the noodle and same goes the sticky rice with the seaweed. The owner of the shop actually showed us how to eat and she went to fed Liling who was hesitating at first but then opens her mouth. Oh and so much for wanting to use the chopsticks to eat the noodle cause it's actually a fail! Lol. There's this ahjumma who sat on the table as us and she laughed at me cause I was struggling with the chopsticks. In the end, I used the fork and continue to enjoy the food. The ahjumma was like "Is it delicious?" And I'm like, VERYYYYYYYYY DELICIOUS.

So rating? 11/10 cause it's too good to be true. 

After the good and hearty meal, we decided to explore Namdaemun Streets! The environment is totally different compared to Myeongdeong because back in MD, the streets were packed with teenagers but here, it is popular among the elderly. Even the clothes they sell are mostly meant for the elderly. Nonetheless, we had a great time buying souvenirs such as teddy bear keychain, wallet and even chopsticks! The people there are so friendly and funny. Once, when I passed by this kpop store, there's this guy who began to "promote" his shop and he asked me, "Do you like KPOP?" And I replied, "Ne!" So he asked, "Who?" When I said, "EXO!" he began to sing "Ahhh, oreurong oreurong oreurong dae~" and we all laughed xD Thank you for entertaining us! xD

It was really a great experience as the environment was completely different from Singapore (besides the weather), the streets are so long we end up getting lost cause we can't find the subway xD Oh and have I mentioned that I actually bumped into my aunt after I had my lunch at the Kalgaksu Alley?! Hahahha of all places, I met her here, in the middle of Namdaemun streets and not Singapore! Talked for a while before going separate ways and then we saw each other again at the souvenir shop xD What a small world!

Went further out and we found someone selling CHEAP denim shirts. Before, it was 10,000won but since we bought alot (total of 6 pieces please), we got it for 9000 won instead :) I know deep down, the seller might be cursing us but oh well! hehe.

I can't remember most of the sequence we went cause we keep on going to and fro so I'll just list down the places we went aite ;)

Cosmetics stores:

1) Skinfood

This was our first stop! Remembered it clearly cause I was so shocked when the sales lady gave us ALOT of samples. Thank you unnie! Contemplate whether to buy this nice smelling perfume but in the end I didnt buy and.........I kindda regret not buying >< Sigh.

2) Etude House

The Etude House there is soooooooooooo pretty in pink and cute I fall in love with it's interior and exterior design T^T While I was busy looking at the lip tints, I got distracted when I saw this group of school girls applying lipstick, blusher, nailpolish, eyeliner tester onto their makeup-less face O_____o Liling saw my reaction and she laughed, saying that it's normal for people to apply the testers on their face and even the sale girls don't bother lol which is mainly due to the fact that makeup stores are so competitive out there they'll do anything to attract customers and make them buy. And yeap, it's not only the school girls, even the lady beside me was applying the lipstick tester on her lips. Errr, they don't really care about the hygiene here I guess haha. Bought 3 bottles of BB Cream, which cost 35,000 won each and a super nice perfume which I think costs 12000 won since I regretted not buying the one at Skinfood :P

3) Nature republic

Decided to go to the mf HUGE NR building (but I still went to other NR outlet though, just that I spend the most there) and I'm in heavennnnnnnnnn~ Went to the hand cream section first cause I've been eyeing that since long. Initially, wanted to buy just ONE handcream which costs 3000 plus won or isit 5000(?) but then, this salesgirl recommended me to buy 6 tubes instead cause it'll only cost 25,000 PLUS.....I'll get TWO EXO photocards and TWO EXO small standees which I can choose whoever I want. TEMPTING MUCH HUH? I've been seeing people posting the photocards and standees at twitter and I really want to get one so why not?! xD But the thing is...6 HANDCREAMS for me?! I only have 2 hands and I barely even use 1. So thanks to my kind friends LOL, they bought one each so that leaves me with 4 handcreams which I decide to give some away :P Bought a few other stuffs for my friends and aunts. The salegirl who have been helping me out is so nice T^T After making my payment, which cost a whopping 50,000 won (I've never shop so much on cosmetic products before man), the salegirls told me that she will give me free exo passport cover/calender and asked me to choose so I chose the latter T____T THANK YOU UNNIE :((( Got so many freebies I'm a happy fangirl!

4) Tony Moly

If NR is the reason I buy for EXO, then Tony Moly will be for Super Junior M! However, I didn't buy alot there since I don't need the stuffs badly so in the end, I only bought this cute bunny lipbalm which costs around 6000 won :) And I'm glad that I bought it cause the lipbalm is not dry and suits my lips! Plus, its cute and it has a raspberry smell so I love it! :P Wanted the SJM poster but unless we spend 15k won on a single receipt that we won't get one :( Even if Liling and I combined receipts, we'll get one but who will take the poster then? Hahha, might as well both of us didn't get it :P

5) CLIO

Clio was having 30% SALES so we decided to go in cause WHO WANTS TO GIVE SALES A MISS lol. Fall in love with the lipstick so I bought one for myself and since the nail polish was on sale 1+1, I bought it for my friends too :) 

Clothes stores:

1) SPAO/EVERYSING

The moment I stepped into SPAO, I was greeted with "Bangapseumida, SPAO imnida" which totally reminds me of UNIQLO. Besides that, I was in a daze cause I saw SJ everywhere on the walls and on the screen and bb Kyu look so handsome!!! ㅋㅋㅋ Tbh, it was quite pricey for a printed shirt so in the end, I didn't buy anything for myself but bought Marvel shirts for my brothers. Wanted to buy the shoes too but the female's size is too small for me >< Sucks to have large pair of feet huh. Then we went to the 2nd level which is Everysing and yeah, it's all SM! Thank goodness I'm a SMTOWN fangirl if not would've die of boredom here haha. Beautifully decorated with SM artist and check out all the albums out. We didn't intend to buy the albums first cause we wanted to check with other CD stores cause who knows there will be cheaper? I REALLY wanted to buy Luhan's eyemask but it was sold out so I had to give it a miss :(( My friends laughed at me when they heard that I wanted to buy the eyemask -.- It's not THAT weird what...right? ><

2) STREET SHOPPING

Went to various alleys to continue our shopping and I happened to see this unique unicorn keychain with lightning which costs 15,000 won -_____- It's soooo pretty I was so tempted to buy but since I'm rather indecisive, I decided to think again and come back the next time. 

Oh and I really think that Liling attracts them Korean guys! HAHAHAHAHA. Cause there's this cute sales guy winked or isit smirked at her as we passed by his shop and I'm like, DAYYUMM LILING ATTRACTS THEM FOREIGNERS xD Last time, an ahjussi flirted with her HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA RLAB. 

3) CD STORES

I think we went to about 3 CD Stores in MD just to compare the prices of the albums and this have yet to include the stores we will be going at other places xD One was at the HUGE NR building, the 3rd level, another was inside this Beauty shop, another was yeah, Everysing. Kiasu much huh? ㅋㅋㅋ

After resting in the cafe, we continued our stroll at the streets! What do we had for dinner? Well, that was our dinner! The patbingsoo and green tea xD Which is why once we're at our guesthouse, I decide to make myself cup noodles that my mum packed for me back in SG haha.

Ended our night with laughter and played game before we literally K.O-ed. Eversince the 2nd day, we didn't sleep on our own bed, instead, we were all cuddled up together in the middle like a kimbab. hahahaha. Too tired I guess xD
