"We're going on a trip in our favorite rocket ship, zooming through the sky~"

When my Dad told the family that he wanted to take us somewhere for a holiday and that we should decide where we wanted to go, I was excited. We all were because when was the last time we had a family trip? It took us a few months to decide on which country to go and when my siblings told me they all wanted to go to Korea....I was speechless. SERIOUSLY I DID NOT BRAINWASH THEM OKAY. So I decided to tell my dad that we should go Korea since all of them wanted to. And.....SURPRISINGLY....he agreed but asked me to calculate everything first before we actually buy the plane tixs.

I was excited and began to plan - where to go, how much are we going to spend, but unfortunately, after all the calculations, Seoul is way above our budget :( Dad even gave us a choice...1) Go to Seoul but won't get a new phone 2) Go to Bandung and get a new phone and of course I choose the latter. (And I'm glad I made that choice because if not I'll be phoneless by now heh and..I love my new phone ^^V)

15th November 2015

All of us had difficulty sleeping as we were worried if we overslept because knowing the Yusof family, we are all not a morning person and our flight was at 10.30am xD Thank God we didn't and even had time for breakfast! :)

My Dad...as usual, being the extra protective one made sure that we did not get lost in the airport (lol) and told Hidayat and I to take care of the boys and girls respectively. Okay Dad xD

Took us about 1.45hours to reach Bandung and alas we're breathing in the Bandung air! It was very cooling outside and I know I'm going to love the weather for the next 3 days!

Oh and just so you know, that day was the day I had to collect our Day6 tixs and since I was away, Liyana took them for me! Tbh, I was nervous as we didn't know our seats because it's actually first come first serve but I was quite confident that we could get the first 3 rows since I submitted the pre-order form in less than 2 mins. However, when Liyana told me that we are at the 9th row, I was disappointed. Sigh, I really have no luck when it comes to choosing seats :(

But on the bright side....at least I will be meeting Day6 (!!)

Anyway, my Dad hired a bus driver for us to travel around Bandung so once we arrived, Ari (his name) was already waiting for us at the arrival hall. Checked in to our apartment, waited for Om and Tante's family and we're off to have lunch since we're all famished.

Lunch at Nasi Penjara was okay. My siblings knew about this cafe(?) where it is a prison themed cafe through twitter but then....they found out that the ones in twitter is not in Bandung. It still looks similar though. The waiter and waitress are all clad in black and white stripes - prison uniform and even the dining area had an individual cells were customers could feel as if they're in one. Cool huh?

Some of the plating is really like those plate prisoner's had when they're in jail and even the name of their dishes/drinks are related to the theme - "Teroris", "Tahanan Kota", "Borgol", "Hakim", "Napi Jomblo" etc etc. Sorry I'm not familiar with bahasa Indonesia so I have no idea what some of them means :P

Look at the rice in the "cage"..now you know why the cafe is called Nasi Penjara because the rice is in the cage (penjara)

My mojito is freaking minty I had a hard time drinking ><

Thank goodness my food is okay (my sis's fried noodle was salty) but I could finished it within 5 mins cause the portion is so little xD

There were a total of 12 people so you could totally imagine how noisy we were - talking, laughing, ordering, taking pictures.

A mini photobooth(?) outside the cafe

One lonely prisoner HAHAHAH

After lunch, went to one of the Factory Outlet nearby to shop for a while before we head back to our apartment to lepak xD

Excuse our lethargic faces

Soooo.....Day 1 ended just like that - with us spending most of the time in the apartment eating junk foods and lazing around (So much for BONDung eh haha) cause Day 2 is going to be a very looooong day~
